A consumer Experience..
People generally pay for one of two things when it comes to entertainment: an object, or an experience. An experience can be something like a movie, carousel, walking through museums, etc. Consumers want to pay to be able to experience something that they don't normally get to do in their day-to-day lives. I personally would enjoy going to a coffee shop (see, there's a trend in my blogs- I LOVE coffee) and be able to experience brewing my own beverage. I mean, I can use my coffee pot at home, but I lack all of the equipment to be able to make my coffee like it would be made in a specialty cafe. Sure, the process would take longer- but the uniqueness of the whole thing would attract people because that is just something that you don't get to do everyday. I know several coffee lovers- myself included- would enjoy just being able to learn how to use the machinery that makes the coffees that we cannot live without.
